REFUND AND RETURN POLICY
Standard Products — 30-Day Return Window
If your order ships from existing stock, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. To qualify, the item must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging with all included hardware and documentation.
To start a return, contact us at justindmossman@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. Do not ship anything back before contacting us — unrequested returns will not be accepted.
If your return is approved, we will send a prepaid return shipping label and instructions. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you of approval or denial. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to process the credit.
Made-to-Order Products — No Returns Except for Defects
Products printed or assembled to order are not eligible for return or exchange unless the item arrives defective or was sent in error. If you receive a defective or incorrect made-to-order item, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right.
Product listings clearly indicate whether an item is made-to-order.
Important: Test Before You Install
All Current Forge Gear electrical and wiring components are designed to connect via plug-in interfaces. Before integrating any part into your kayak's wiring system, test the component using the included connections only. Do not cut, splice, or permanently wire any component until you have confirmed fit and function. Returns cannot be accepted on items that have been cut, spliced, or integrated into an existing wiring system.
Damages and Defects
Inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If an item is damaged in shipping, defective, or incorrect, contact us at justindmossman@gmail.com right away with photos. We will evaluate and resolve the issue promptly.
Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return under any circumstances: sale items, gift cards, and any product that has been installed, modified, cut, or integrated into a wiring or mounting system.
Exchanges
To exchange an item, return the original following the process above and place a new order once your return is accepted.
European Union Orders
If your order ships to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return within 14 days of delivery for any reason, provided the item is unused and in original condition. Made-to-order exclusions still apply where permitted by applicable law.
